Thank you for visiting our public engagement website. Barratt & David Wilson Homes North Scotland are preparing a Planning Application for the Land to the North and North West of Denview Road, Potterton (Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan allocations OP1 and OP2) following the approval of the Masterplan in 2023.
Prior to submission of the Planning Application, Barratt & David Wilson Homes North Scotland are seeking engagement with residents of Potterton. They therefore invite you to the final in a series of three public consultation events, providing an opportunity for you to view and comment on the proposal for residential development along with open space, associated community uses and infrastructure shaped by previous consultation events and a range of surveys and site investigations.
In Person Event
The consultation event will include an exhibition to present updates to the proposal, as well as the opportunity to speak to the project team in person.
The event will take place on:
6th March 2024
at Potterton Community Centre, Laingseat Roadd, Potterton, Aberdeen AB23 8UE
From 3pm – 7pm

Feedback
Your views, ideas and local knowledge are invaluable to us, and we welcome your feedback and any other comments you would like to make by downloading the feedback form below and returning it by email or post. These will also be available on the day of the event at Potterton Community Centre on the day of the event.

What Happens Next
As set out above once the project team has considered the feedback gathered during these consultation events Barratt & David Wilson Homes North Scotland, intend to submit a Planning Application to Aberdeenshire Council.
A report will be prepared on the consultation exercise (called a Pre-Application Consultation report or ‘PAC’ report) which will be provided to Aberdeenshire Council as part of the submission of the Planning Application.

Please note any feedback provided at this stage is to EMA / Barratt & David Wilson Homes North Scotland and will not constitute a formal representation to Aberdeenshire Council. Once the Planning Application has been submitted you will have an opportunity to provide formal feedback to Aberdeenshire Council on the proposed development.
